John Fletcher BSC (Hons)

John joined Pathway Communications as an associate in May 2011. His experience covers both the NHS and the Pharmaceutical Industry in senior positions

Most recently, John has been the Commercial Director of an NHS acute Trust, ensuring the Trust maintained and grew its market share. Within this role, he gained invaluable experience about how the NHS works, from contracting and HRGs through to the workings of the Board. As a Board member, he played a key role in enabling the hospital to attain Foundation Trust status.
Prior to his NHS experience, John held a number of senior roles in the Pharmaceutical Industry (with Napp Pharmaceuticals); these include senior Sales Management, Head of Commercial & NHS Operations and latterly Director of Marketing. This diverse experience gives him a thorough understanding of the commercial operations within the drug industry.
This combined experience gives John a unique perspective on how the NHS and Pharmaceutical Industry can help themselves and one another

John is educated to degree level, obtaining a BSc (Hons) from the University of Nottingham.
