Chris Barker BSC(Hons) MBA

Chris Barker is a management consultancy specializing in personal support of Primary Care Organizations, Practice Based Commissioning Clusters and General Practitioner Practices in the development of business strategy, operational effectiveness and healthcare services.

With over 10 years experience working for the commercial sector with the NHS developing integrated care pathways and primary, intermediate and secondary care services ranging from Mental Health to Pain Management and Diabetes, Chris is dedicated to ensuring delivery of truly patient centric services and better healthcare for all.

Chris Barker graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Pharmacology, before working for Johnson and Johnson Ltd in a variety of roles over the next 5 years, including Business Development Manager – working with the NHS to develop Mental Health Trusts. Subsequently working as a Regional Account Director for Takeda UK, whilst completing an MBA at the University of Warwick, Chris gained experience in developing further services. At this time Chris also worked with Practice Based Commissioning Clusters to assist them in developing business sophistication through Strategic Direction and tactical sophistication.
